Danny Sellers has been recognized as one of the leading experts in the alcohol industry for over three decades. He started his career with the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division in 1986. During his tenure with ALE, he was responsible for developing BARS (Be A Responsible Seller/Server Program, providing guidance to ABC Permitted business's and assisting permittees in obtaining ABC permits. In 2000, he was recruited by the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission to become the first Director of Education and Training. While at the Commission he developed RASP (Responsible Alcohol Seller/Server Program). In 2009, Danny retired from State Government and in 2010 joined Show Pros Entertainment Services in Charlotte where he created Alcohol Risk Reduction Training Institute. There he developed ARRT (Alcohol Risk Reduction Training). He continued to help permittees obtain ABC Permits and provide training for private and government facilities as well as non-profit organizations. Show Pros contracted with the ABC Commission to issue ABC permits for the western part of North Carolina. Danny has also developed and taught ethics training to appointed ABC officials statewide. He has spoken at numerous State and National Conferences about Best Practices in the area of underage drinking prevention and Responsible Alcohol Service and sales.
